Stop Motion Animation: ages 7 -11

Bring your ideas to life with our craft materials, props, cameras and software. Animate your own fun story, frame by frame. 

Participants will create their own short, animated film using stop motion software. With guidance from our expert tutors, participants will use different materials, props and backgrounds, design characters and sets and create their films frame by frame.

You will learn:

• How stop motion animation works (filming frame-by-frame)
• Story planning and visual storytelling skills
• Camera positioning, sequencing and simple editing
• Set design and creative expression
• Problem-solving, focus and project planning
