Signals Digital Week: ages 9 -17

Participants can take part in five days of hands-on technology exploration, trying out a range of creative digital skills including animation, game design, robotics and filmmaking. Each day introduces a different theme, giving participants the opportunity to experiment, build confidence and discover new interests in a fun and supportive environment.

Across the week, participants will work with experienced tutors to explore how technology can be used creatively to design, build and tell stories. They will learn through practical projects, working individually and in teams, and developing both technical and creative skills along the way.

You will learn:

• How to use Micro:bit technology and explore basic robotics
• The fundamentals of animation and bringing ideas to life frame by frame
• How to design and build simple games using creative tools
• Filmmaking skills including planning, shooting and editing
• Problem-solving, teamwork and creative thinking across digital projects

By the end of the week, participants will have created a variety of projects across different media, building new skills in technology and creativity.
