National Alpaca Farm Day is Coming!

Alpacas - Interact with them in their pens, take pictures, give them a treat

Live Music - Sin Brothers - Singing Hetzel Brothers, Mark (guitar) & Erik (piano) perform a wide repertoire of crowd favorites and eclectic B-sides

Food Vendors - Epicurean Garage, Collective Coffee, Birchrun Hills Cheeses, Le Garage Winery

Local Art - Fiber Art with Whimsical Woollies, Crochet with Crafts by MK, Clay with Cob Studio, Visual Art with Eiren Graver, Wood Working and custom designs with JEM Naturals along with some goodies from The Jeweled Warrior, Macrame Plant Hangers and more with Celestial Creations

Create Your Own - Nesting Ball using our alpaca fiber ($10) an $18 value in the Farm Shop and wonderful gift for backyard birdies

Live Fiber Demos - spinning, needle felting, weaving

Farm Shop Open - browse our amazing selection of alpaca yarn, socks, toys, clothing, throws, etc.  Be sure to visit the Clearance Rack to help us get ready for fall

$100 Raffle Prize to Silkie's Farm - each advance purchase $5 admission ALSO grants you a chance to win a $100 Gift Certificate to Silkie's Farm.  Activate your chance to win when you register upon arrival. Use it anyway you want - for merchandise, creative classes, alpaca yoga, toward an alpaca purchase, or gift it to a friend.  Additional tickets can be purchased at the event to increase your chances!  We will announce the winner at the end of the event.  You do not need to be present to win.

Parking - is limited so please use your parking smarts - be patient, consider car pooling, walk, bike, leave space for other cars. 

NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY - EVEN IN CARS!  Sorry but pooches need to stay home.  Safety is a Top Priority here.

This event is weather dependent.  We will announce any cancellations on our Website, Facebook and Instagram on the day of the event so please stay in tune with us if you're not sure - especially if you are coming a good distance.
