Join us for a one of a kind coastal gathering, celebrating the North Sea, where Scottish and Scandinavian traditions meet...
The day will be filled with a celebration of our connection to nature - the food and abundance on land, sea and shore.
Punctuated with moments to gather, reflect, make and connect. We will be offering celebrations of the season.
Join us for our family friendly daytime events, or linger in the evening over a shared meal, bonfire and entertainment.
Daytime Family Friendly Programme

Guided Forage Tour #1 at the Market Garden
Foraging walk on the farm, learning about edible wild foods and their uses with Feral Forager Scotland, followed by a taster with some of Feral Foragers delicous bakes and herbal concoctions. (max 8 people) £12 per person
10:30am – 12:00pm
Guided Mandala Making in the Sheep Field
We will gather natural materials and learn mandala symbolism + seasonal awareness as we co-create a collaborative nature mandala, with Mel (Inner Stillpoint) & Stewart (Sound Forest Spirit). (max 12 people) Donation on site.
11:30am – 12:30pm
Storytelling in the Yurt
Traditional & nature-inspired tales in a relaxed and immersive atmosphere with David G Pullar & Celia Norman Smith (max 18 people) Donation onsite.
12:30pm – 2:00pm

Rhythm, connection & energy with Sound Forest Spirit. Open to all levels. (max 12 people) Suggested donation £5 per person.

Learn simple, safe fire-lighting skills in a family-friendly space with Stewart (Forest School educator) Suggested donation onsite.

Field Kitchen Café
Seasonal summer menu including light lunches, snacks, cakes & ice cream, plus hot & cold drinks all with a sea view.
Solstice and nature inspired crafts in the Flower Field
Join artist Nicky Wilkie to make willow flower crowns (£5 suggested) and fuzzy bee making (free).
Feral Forager Scotland Info Table in the Flower Field
Learn what wild foods are in season and browse recipes and inspiration.
Face Painting in the Willow Arch (11:00–15:30)
Seasonal and celebratory designs from Boo Face face painting, £4 each.
DIY Nature Mandala in the sheep field
Materials + guidance available all day; contribute to a shared evolving artwork; suggested donation onsite.
Sillyflatt will be closed from 4pm - 7pm to allow us to transform for the evening! If you are joining us for the full day, you could take this time to relax down by the water or go on a long walk over the Laing Rig to enjoy the views.
Evening Festive Long Table Feast

One drink included with ticket, non-alcoholic drinks available.
7:30pm Shared feast celebrating the North Sea
Enjoy an abundance of seafood and salads, a collaboration between the Field Kitchen at Sillyflatt and The Seafood Bothy. Vegetarian option available.
9:30pm Bonfire and entertainment
Enjoy stories, solstice traditions and other entertainment into the wee hours.
