Fun, fitness sessions with Silverfit Charity for the over 45s!

Time: meet at 10.50am for 11am start

Price: From 19th August onwards, Haringey sessions are £3 to attend (Please see reason for this at the bottom of the page)

If you need Nordic Walking poles provided by the instructor

For those who need to borrow poles it is essential that you sign up to the sessions beforehand so instructors know how many sets of poles they will need, this will help avoid any disappointment.

Please turn up at least 10 minutes before the session so that everyone can catch up beforehand and enjoy a full session - especially those who need to be set up with poles. Nordic Walk instructors will not normally delay the session for latecomers.

Advice from instructors

During inclement weather it may be useful to think about wearing layers of clothing, that you can take on & off if the weather changes during the walk (e.g. a light waterproof jacket when it rains).

Also please bring water in warmer weather, and wear walking shoes or boots suitable for wet and uneven terrain.

Important Update: Session Payments from August 2025

From August 19th, Silverfit sessions in Haringey will no longer be free to attend.

This is due to funding from Haringey Council coming to an end, and unfortunately we are no longer able to offer the sessions at no cost.

To help us continue running these popular sessions, we kindly ask all attendees to pay in advance online via TicketTailor.

Payments must be made before attending each session.

Yoga sessions will continue with their current system of paying the instructor directly on the day.

We understand this is a change and appreciate your support in helping us keep Silverfit going strong in Haringey.
