🌿 LITTLE OAKS DAY NURSERY, LEATHERHEAD
FOREST SCHOOL SUMMER TERM 🌿
THURSDAY'S ONLY OPEN TO CHILDREN THAT ATTEND LITTLE OAKS NURSERY

✨ Forest School at Little Oaks Nursery ✨
Led by Victoria, founder of Silverwoods Forest School, these sessions provide high-quality, nurturing outdoor learning experiences for young children.
Silverwoods Forest School sessions take place within the beautiful open space of King George V Memorial Gardens, with trees surrounding the area to create a calm and natural setting. Children are free to explore and learn through play, enjoying activities such as bug hunting, fairy garden play, hammocks, water play, mud kitchen, seasonal crafts, and creative play with paints and chalks. Through storytelling and learning about wildlife and the changing seasons, children develop confidence, curiosity, and a meaningful connection to the natural world.

I’m proud to have been shortlisted for the Royal Forestry Society Education & Learning Awards 2026 in recognition of my commitment to high-quality outdoor learning.
I personally lead every Forest School session at Little Oaks Nursery, creating inspiring, hands-on experiences where children can explore, play, learn and develop a lifelong love of nature.
🌳 What awaits your child?
🌲 Trees for hammocks and climbing.
🥾 Mud Kitchen and water play
🐦 Nature discovery through bug hunting, bird spotting, and seasonal wildlife.
🍂 Seasonal, nature-inspired creative activities.
Please note that from September 2026, Little Oaks Forest School sessions will be £9 per child. This small increase reflects rising operating costs. Thank you for your continued support.
It is paramount that your child has the correct clothing on to participate in Forest School, please keep an eye out on the weather forecast and pack the appropriate clothing for the weather.
