Here in the UK, we’re living longer than ever – but not necessarily healthier. By age 60, around 1 in 3 people will have developed a major long-term condition such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, or cancer — and by age 70, the majority of us will be living with at least one of these conditions. But the truth is, it doesn’t have to be that way.

What we eat, how much we move, the quality of our sleep, and the state of our mind and relationships – all have a powerful impact on how well we age.

But you already know this. Perhaps you’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts or followed the latest “health-fluencer” on Instagram. But maybe you find the amount of information overwhelming and the advice conflicting. You are not sure who to trust or what strategies will work for you. Perhaps you struggle to embed new ideas into your already busy life and feel stuck?

I’m here to help. I’m Sinead Mac Manus and I’m a Certified Health Coach.

My mantra is "Quick Wins, Big Results" and I believe that long term change starts with small daily steps. Through coaching, mentoring and support, I help men and women in midlife build sustainable and lifelong healthy habits that make a real difference. My approach is personalised, evidence-based, actionable and, importantly, fun.

If you're ready to invest in your health and enjoy life to the fullest in your 50s, 60s, and beyond, join me on Saturday 6 September where I will be cutting through the noise and helping you with your goals around what I call the Four Pillars of health and wellness: Nutrition, Movement, Rest and Mind.

The afternoon will give you the time and space to focus on your long term health and wellbeing. It will combine education, group coaching and practical exercises to empower you to go away with actionable, self-generated ideas that you can build into sustainable and lifelong healthy habits.

🌟 Workshop Goals:

✅ Understand how the Four Pillars support health and longevity.
✅ Learn actionable tips and practical experiments for each area.
✅ Identify personal habits and areas for improvement.
✅ Leave with a personalised mini health plan.

Schedule:

1:45pm: Arrivals.
2pm: Welcome

2.10pm: Pillar 1: Nutrition - Fuelling for Life. In this Pillar, we will explore the latest evidence around healthy eating and workshop together how to make quick and easy swaps to your meals and snacks to make them balanced and nutrient dense without breaking the bank.

2:50pm: Pillar 2: Sleep, Rest and Recovery. In this Pillar, we will coach around building good sleep hygiene habits. We will also look at the importance of rest and recovery especially as we get older.

3:30pm: Break with healthy snacks provided.

3:50pm: Pillar 3: Movement. In this Pillar, we will investigate the different categories and benefits of movement and exercise e.g. strength, mobility, cardio etc. We will learn simple and fun routines to build strength and power that can be done anywhere, anytime.

4:30pm: Pillar 4: Mind & Spirit. In the last Pillar, we will turn inward to focus on the things that keep you mentally well and use coaching to create time and space for more of that in your life.

5.10pm: Wrap up and close.
