Single Friendly Church Workshop - June
Becoming a Single Friendly Church
An online workship focussed on our Guided Audit. This will be an interactive session with opportunities to discuss and share ideas with others.
(please note this webinar is a repeat)
We will be discussing:
- Know Your Community: What does "single" mean?
- Messaging: How to adapt church language to ensure everyone feels valued
- Welcome and Belonging: How to welcome and include people coming on their own
- Teaching: How to ensure teaching is relevant for everyone
- Leadership: How and why to include single people in leadership positions
This webinar is completely free and will last around 60 minutes, with a group discussion and time for questions at the end. It is aimed at those in church leadership but anyone is welcome to attend. If you are not a leader in your church, we advise that you inform your church about the webinar and follow up with them afterwards. If you want to become a Single Friendly Church, you'll need them on board!
What is Single Friendly Church Network?
We are a charity on a mission to encourage all churches to welcome and value single adults at every stage of life. More information can be found on our website.
Please note: If you are new to the subject of singleness in church, we recommend you watch the recording of our introductory webinar 'How to become a Single Friendly Church' prior to this workshop. Watch on YouTube here.
