We invite you to join us for a summer evening of relaxing live jazz music, played by the 3-piece jazz band the Broads Chords whilst cruising along the River Bure as the sun goes down. Departing from the village of Horning at 5.30pm, passing St. Benet’s Abby onto South Walsham Broad and finishing back in Horning.
There is also a finger buffet to enjoy as you chat to others also enjoying this super chilled event. This year, by poplar request there will be cake!
The Southern Comfort is a double-deck paddle boat purpose built for the Broads, the boat is a luxury river cruiser. Our trip from the beautiful village of Horning, along the River Bure through the village and out to Ranworth Broad and back, passing lovely old thatched houses, windmills and Norfolk reed beds. There is the ever present bustle of river traffic with cruisers, yachts and the occasional wherry.
