It's The 2026 Sir James Pub Quiz Pub Crawl! 

Starting (and finishing) at Bar Gallus in Glasgow's West End, it’s back - and it’s bigger, boozier (please drink responsibly), and better than ever. Where will your team finish on the final scoreboard?

Sir James’s legendary mash-up of pub quiz and pub craw chaos returns this October! Expect quiz rounds, bonus games, daft challenges, more cowbell, bubbles, and of course… prizes, trophies, and pizza.

Whether you're in it to win it or just in it for the banter, everyone will leave feeling like a winner.

What’s the deal?
It’s a Pub Quiz and a a Pub Crawl combined. Everyone is issued with a lanyard, map and instructions at the start. Everyone gets a medal - if they have the stamina to make it to the end!

So get your mates together, pick a ridiculous team name, and compete for glory as you roam from pub to pub, answering quiz questions and racking up points in style.  Watch the highlights video at www.glasgowpubquiz.com from last year for an even more detailed idea of what to expect!

What Prizes can I win?
There's the chance of a cash prize - there's Trophies - there's medals for everyone who finishes.

When?
Saturday 3rd October
Midday–5pm (ish) 

Pizza?
Yes – a free pizza each for every team of 5 or 6! (This can be a Team ticket or individual tickets).
Get there in good time or your team mates will eat it for you.

Where?
We start at Bar Gallus, with registration from Midday.
First quiz round kicks off around 12:30pm.
Full details strictly for ticket holders only, but if you came last year, it will be very similar!

How do I get tickets?
Limited spaces – it will sell out. Early Bird tickets for those who get tickets one month or more in advance save you £5 – available here or direct from Sir James. Buy your individual tickets or for the team (max 9 people per team - teams of 10 will be split into two teams of 5, and yes you can sit next to each other, and yes that then qualifies you for two pizzas - so it's not all that bad!)

FAQ 
Where do we go?
Ticket holders get the info before the event. Full pub list and crawling route revealed on the day!

Can people join late or leave early?
Of course, it's a pub crawl, some folk will arrive late, and some will not make it to the end!

How do latecomers find us?
Use your mobile phone to call a team mate and ask what pub we are in. They will find us.

What if someone bails last minute?
Tickets are non-refundable unless there's a waiting list. Try to resell or swap your ticket. Contact Sir James.

We’ve got an extra player now!
Grab an extra player ticket if they’re still available. Speak to Sir James if it's mid-event.

Can I bring my dog?
Most venues are dog-friendly. Bring poop bags. Be responsible. Or leave pooch at home.

Can under-18s come?
No. Not even close. This is strictly 18+.

Does my ticket include drinks?
Nope. Licensing laws. But you will get a medal. And the bar will be open!

How do I get my free pizza?
Sir James will give free pizza tokens to all teams of 5/6 arriving before 12:30.  

How far do we walk?
Total walk time is less than 20 minutes. Each pub is about 5 minutes apart.
The emphasis is on Pub Quiz and Pub Crawl. It's not a fitness thing.

Are there seats for us?
In 2025 Sir James had reserved spaces in all venues. Most venues will have designated seating to accommodate us.

How do I get tickets?
Tickets are only available from this site (Ticket Tailor) and from Sir James himself, anything else is fake news.
