Queer in Nature: A Queer Ecology Workshop
Queer in Nature: A Queer Ecology Workshop
🌈 🌱Saturday June 7, 1-3 PM
A Queer Ecology Workshop With Dr Laura Braunholtz
A participatory workshop exploring the intersections of queerness and ecological thought. Drawing on queer theory, environmental justice, and multispecies relationships, we’ll examine how dominant narratives of nature and normativity intertwine and how they can be unraveled. Through guided walks, sensory observation, and place-based reflection, we will explore how queerness can reimagine our relationships with nature, each other, and ourselves. This space welcomes all who are curious about how queerness can reimagine our connections to land, bodies, and ecosystems.
Due to the limited capacity of this workshop, kindly inform us if you are unable to attend. This will allow us to offer your spot to someone on the waiting list. Please avoid not showing up on the day. These types of workshops are in high demand and provide great value to our community.
