Join a safe, loving and non-judgemental community of women to learn about psychedelics and plant medicines through conversation, ritual and play!
Whether you are just becoming curious about psychedelics or you are deepening your experience and knowledge, Sisters in Psychedelics (SIP)'s monthly 'Psychedelic Conversations in Community' provide the opportunity to learn, share and grow in a supportive community of like-minded women.
We gather to ask and answer questions, support each other, share our experiences, and work on our personal and intrapersonal development with ritual, movement, sound and play. Each meeting is unique as we tailor our sharing and activities around a different core value of SIP:
✅ Abundance
✅ Community
✅ Growth
✅Diversity & Inclusion
✅ Integrity
What to expect
Our circles follow a general format of:
🙏 grounding exercise like a meditation, a mindfulness exercise or breath work
🙏 sharing of Circle Agreements to ensure we create a safe space for all attendees
🙏 introductions, check-ins, Q&As and shares
🙏 a relaxing or playful exercise such as a sound bath, ecstatic dance, breathwork, journaling, artwork, etc. that allows and encourages you to express yourself and show up as your authentic self
🙏 closing exercise
Please allow yourself to join on-time for the creation of community circle agreements – we create a closed container by 5:35 PM PST and open back up to complete the evening at 7:30 PM PST.
About our facilitators
Colleen English is a long-time Seattle, Washington resident. She was initially introduced to Sisters in Psychedelics in 2021 while participating in Clubhouse conversations hosted by SIP Co-Founder, Dana Harvey. Colleen had the privilege to work with both Dana and Bea to form the Seattle Chapter for SIP. She started working with psychedelics therapeutically in 2018.
Upon first use, she was launched into an incredible journey of self-love, deprogramming, healing, and connectedness. Colleen explored various types, but the most profound experiences have been with a kanna and sassafras mixture, and white lily. She is also passionate about building a container for women that cultivates expression, bravery, and vulnerability.
Colleen is not a psychedelic expert and will never claim to be. However, she's an expert in her own healing and expansion journey. Her intention is to destigmatize psychedelics by sharing her lived experience and possibly shining a light on the path for others if called.
Erica Carraway is an upcoming trailblazer in the industry of Integrative Science and Medicine. In pursuit of her master’s degree, she developed mushroom-based products to introduce health and wellness in a practical way for everyday use. Her recent position as a SIP Chapter Lead has inspired her to continue to uplift the collective through medicine and community.
