The L Bomb: Being a Lesbian in Brighton
Sisters Salon is a free group for women in Sussex. Please book your free creche place by 16th October. This is to allow us to plan play-workers.
At our monthly Sisters Salon, women from all walks of life are welcome to talk, laugh, learn and plan together in a friendly, supportive, female-only space. Each Salon addresses a topic chosen by the group. Through listening to each other, agreeing, disagreeing and sharing our lives we can see the patterns, not only in our own lives, but the patterns we share as women. We aim to create an empowering and respectful atmosphere to nourish our growing community of women who want more. Also......we have cake.
THE L BOMB: Being a Lesbian in Brighton
How is life in Brighton for Lesbians? Join us for a Sisters Salon thinking about lesbian lives: culture, history, language, support services, lesbian spaces, dating, nightlife. How can Brighton be more fun, safer and supportive for lesbians? What events happen around the country that we would like to see here?
Organisers from London's lesbian-only club night & dating events will join us to share why and how they built their events. What does is take to start one? (TBC). If you are interested in these events you can contact Sapphic Central via email SapphicCentralClub@gmail.com and view LezBeGay events here.
Speak & listen session.
All women welcome regardless of sexual orientation.
