A SketchFACE drawing evening for anyone who needs a break from December.

In a world increasingly dominated by commercial transactions at Christmas we are here for something different. 

We know this event is in November but we also know that by November 26th Christmas is in full PUSH for advertising manipulation, emotional baggage, TO DOS and expectations.

Expect us to deliver you further LIBERATION from the voices that stop you feeling free to do what you want to do!

Expect us to deliver you a carol clean playlist full of 90s bangers!

It's not about being negative about Christmas but giving yourself a choice to interrupt the wheels in motion. 

What You Need To Know

Some people who join SketchFACE have drawn a lot and others not since they were at school; everyone can draw with SketchFACE!

Helen Girling will lead you through some playful drawing exercises where it's ACTUALLY possible to let go of your inner critic.

If you've ever wanted to be drawn then you will have a chance to take a relaxed, short pose while we sketch you, (there's no pressure to do so though.)

We draw each other and even if you don't believe it yet... it feels good!

Don't expect a long traditional portait drawing class. Do expect pace and unexpected joy!

SketchFACE exists to bring people together through the power of drawing, identity and culture.
