Raising funds for Pakistan Homes for widows. Same campaign as the night of hope event as we will be promoting this trek on that day. Continue raising funds for that same project.

This Autumn we’re heading to the Peak District to hike the stunning Mam Tor and The Great Ridge. This is one of the UK’s most iconic ridge walks, offering sweeping views, rolling hills, and rewarding climbs.

The trail is moderately challenging, approximately 9 miles (14–15 km) with around 500–600 metres of ascent. The route includes well-marked paths, grassy hills, rocky ridge sections, and some steeper uphill climbs. No technical hiking experience is needed, but the terrain can be uneven and exposed at times.

We’ll stop mid-way for a lunch break and time to take in the panoramic views. A reasonable level of fitness is required - you should be comfortable walking uphill, managing uneven terrain, and hiking for several hours.

Mam Tor means “Mother Hill” and is part of an ancient landscape rich with geological history and local legends. Come along to explore, connect with others, and take on a meaningful physical challenge together.
