JOIN US FOR A TREK FOR GAZA

Ready for a day of adventure, fresh mountain air and a meaningful challenge for Gaza? Join us on Saturday 26th September 2026 for Trek for Gaza, raising funds for the Gaza Orphan Appeal.

What to expect

• We will meet at 7:00 AM at SKT Welfare Bradford Office, 66 Killinghall Road, Bradford, BD3 8HN.
• We will then travel together to the trekking location, with transport provided as part of your registration.
• The trek will be a full-day outdoor challenge, so please come prepared with suitable trekking footwear, clothing and anything else you may need for the day.
• Once you register, you will receive further information about the trek and fundraising.
• Full support will be provided with setting up and using the relevant fundraising platforms.
• Participants will be able to raise funds through Zakaat and Sadaqah donations.

Registration and fundraising

• Registration fee: £30
• Your £30 registration fee covers transport and light refreshments.
• Minimum fundraising target: £240, which will go towards sponsoring an orphan for one year.
• Fundraising support will be provided throughout the challenge to help you reach your target.

Who can take part?

• 16 years and over: Participants can take part independently.
• Ages 12–16: Participants can take part only with a parent or guardian.

Important notes

• This is a physical trekking challenge, so a reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
• Appropriate trekking footwear and clothing are required.
• Please ensure you are prepared for changing weather conditions and bring suitable layers, water and any personal essentials you may need.
• The £30 registration fee covers transport and light refreshments. The minimum fundraising target is separate and is for the Gaza Orphan Appeal.
