Celebrate the start of summer with a gentle woodland trail run (approx. 7K/4miles) followed by a wood-fired sauna session with wonderful views over Castle Semple Loch to the RSBP Lochwinnoch Nature Reserve.
The trail run will be a social pace (i.e. allowing us to chat!), with some breaks, on paths and tracks with minimal elevation, suited to runners who already enjoy running 5km on roads in 30-35 minutes.
We will then have exclusive use of the Wee Wild Sauna for 1 hour with optional cold water plunges available (either dip in the loch or in the plunge pools provided).
- Meeting point: Lochwinnoch Visitor Centre- parking available at the nearby Castle Semple car park, or it's a 20 minute walk from Lochwinnoch Station (25 minute journey from Glasgow Central)
What's included:
- a 1 hour guided trail run
- a 1 hour sauna session exclusively for our group
- all the planning; you can just turn up and enjoy!
What do you need to bring (We can leave our sauna kit at the Wee Wild Sauna before setting off for the run):
