Make a lantern over the half term week 15th - 20th February 2025. Morning, afternoon and evening tickets available.
Celebrate the 40th Birthday of Moonraking and 100 years of Shops in Slaithwaite. Join in with the big parade on Saturday 22nd February 2025.
Make a design, a framework out of willow and tape, a candle holder and cover in glue and tissue paper.
A simple lantern could be made in 1 session, but a more complex lantern may take 2 or 3 sessions to complete.
All materials, ideas, inspiration and making help provided. All welcome from beginners to veteran lantern makers!

Monday evening is a more accessible session, with lower numbers. for those who prefer a quieter atmosphere.
