Four years ago, a handful of Lunatics started building portals.

Since then we've transformed historic buildings into galaxies, hidden stories behind curtains, filled forgotten rooms with music, and invited thousands of travelers to play pretend for a night.

On July 11th, we're celebrating four years of experience design by taking our biggest leap yet.

For one night only, Church & State becomes The Bebop.

The year is somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow.

Humanity has scattered itself across the solar system. Gate technology has connected the planets. Syndicates thrive in the shadows. Fortune hunters drift between worlds chasing bounties, debts, and bad decisions.

Tonight, you're one of them.

A Cowboy.

A bounty hunter drifting through the stars in search of targets, trouble, and maybe something worth believing in.

As always, we start on a moon.

We're Lunatics. We couldn't help ourselves.

The Journey

GANYMEDE

Ocean Moon • Sirens • Dreams Beneath the Surface

Your voyage begins on Jupiter's largest moon.

A place of floating memories, strange beauty, and deep waters.

Expect immersive performers, ethereal encounters, ambient flow artists, hidden stories, and moments of quiet wonder before departure.

Like the Galactic Cabaret before it, every nook and cranny of Church & State will hold a story behind the curtain and an invitation to play pretend.

Then the engines engage.

The stars stretch.

And the music begins.

THE BEBOP GATES

Throughout the evening, our DJs and live jazz ensemble combine forces to open the Gate Network.

Four times during the night, electronic music and live bebop improvisation merge into a fifteen-minute journey through hyperspace.

Trumpets cry.

Basslines wander.

Saxophones chase starlight.

The ship jumps.

And we arrive somewhere new.

ASTEROID BELT

Rock & Roll • Gambling • Space Punk • Beautiful Chaos

The law gets thin out here.

Welcome to the frontier.

Games of chance. Outlaws. Smugglers. Neon drifters.

The Asteroid Belt is where the weirdness lives.

Explore immersive installations, challenge fate, discover hidden bounty targets, and lose yourself in a retro-futurist wild west where every stranger looks like they might owe someone money.

MARS

Syndicates • Retro-Futurism • High Action

Mars is where power lives.

Towering cities.

Criminal empires.

Cowboys chasing marks through crowded streets.

Inspired by the noir underbelly that made Cowboy Bebop legendary, Mars becomes a world of intrigue, action, movement, and style.

Expect dynamic performances, aerial artistry, pole, combat-inspired movement, and immersive encounters around every corner.

VENUS

Love • Luxury • Sensuality • Green Worlds

Our final destination.

A lush world of beauty and temptation.

Organic. Exotic. Mysterious.

The lights soften.

The atmosphere warms.

Burlesque, sensual performance, lush installations, and dreamlike encounters transform the venue into a planet where desire blooms beneath emerald skies.

Then, as dawn approaches, the dancefloor erupts for one final celebration beneath the stars.

A jazz-soaked noir drifting through the stars. (We love our Jazz, we love our space, Cowboy Bebop really hit a sweet spot with us)

A bounty chase across the solar system. 

A night of hunters, dreamers, syndicates, sirens, gamblers, and cosmic queers and weirdos.

The ship leaves at 8PM.
