You are invited to join us for our training on an 'Introduction to Children's Grief'. This training is approved through the British Psychological Society Quality Mark Scheme for the purposes of CPD.

Learning outcomes:

  • The confidence to communicate with bereaved children and young people and their parents or carers.
  • An understanding of grief reactions and the different models of the grieving process.
  • Knowledge of the different responses to a bereavement at different developmental stages.
  • Suggestions of how professionals can help bereaved children and young people.
  • An awareness of the impact on a family following a bereavement and the ways that professionals can support parents.

The training should take approximately 2.5 hours, with some extra time allowed for questions and conversation at the end. You will receive a certificate of completion from us following the training.

Full price admission is £35 per person.
