Jacopo Grilli

The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy

Dr. Grilli is a biological physicist, with a background in statistical physics. He is interested in understanding complex phenomena starting from simple rules and minimal assumptions. Most of his research is at the interface between statistical physics and ecology, focusing on coexistence, stability, and variability. He also works on different problems in genomics and cell physiology. He will present his research in a presentation holding the title: “What is typical in microbial communities?”.
