Activities

• Certified Sogetsu Master, Ayako Shida (Ikebana Suiryu) will teach a free Ikebana workshop. Ikebana is limited and must be reserved in advance with a ticket.
• Art Therapist, Simeng Wang (LCAT-LP), will teach a free Movement Therapy workshop open to all.
• Explore the private hiking trail along Little Silver Lake, or bring a blanket, hammock, crafts, games, books, cooler or anything else for lounging!

Meals

• Quintal de Vó will be serving up delicious and nourishing home-cooking from Minas Gerais, Brazil, all weekend!
  • A Welcome Dinner will be served on Friday 9/25 at 20:30h.
• If you’d prefer to cook your own food, limited spaces can be reserved in the Dining Hall kitchen by e-mailing us in advance. There’s also a free communal grill (first come).

Cabins

• We highly suggest reserving a bunk in one of our cabins for the best and smoothest weekend. They’re furnished, heated, affordable and have their own bathrooms and showers.
  • E-mail us with any special requests or accessibility needs.
• Tent camping is not allowed but you can reserve camping spaces in advance at nearby Jenny Jump State Park Camping.

Location

Slow Motion takes place at Camp Hope, a magical and peaceful escape located along Little Silver Lake and on 125 acres of idyllic forests and wetlands. We'll be nestled next to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, full of hikes, trails, foliage lookouts and flowing streams and waterfalls.

Transportation

• The Party Shuttle will depart from Second Hand Records to Slow Motion on Friday 9/25 at 18:00h.
• The Party Shuttle will depart from Slow Motion to Second Hand Records on Sunday 9/27 between 10:00h and 11:00h.
• The ride takes about 2 hours.
• If you’re driving to Camp Hope, parking is free.
• You can also take the NJ Transit Rail from NY Penn Station to Dover, NJ. Have someone pick you up or call an Uber/Lyft.
