The Small Giants Community’s keystone event, our annual summit, is a time for the community to come together, learn from one another, and strengthen relationships.

We hate to use the “u” word, but the past couple of years have been… unprecedented. And now, business can no longer focus solely on business. The COVID-19 pandemic, the social justice movement, mental health awareness, and the climate crisis have all made themselves present in our lives to an extent that cannot be ignored. The year of 2022 calls for companies and leaders to think critically about their place in the world. It’s time to think about how we treat our existing employees, seek out new ones, and operate our businesses. There’s no “work/life balance” anymore - it’s all just life, and we need to bring our whole selves into our work to be effective leaders, while also carving out time to feel complete. Many of us have begun to shift and adapt, but we have to continuously improve. The status quo is no longer enough - get ready for a cultural reboot.

A note on safety

We want to make sure that everyone is safe and comfortable at this year's summit. Therefore, we are requiring that every participant provides either proof of vaccination, OR a negative covid test at most 72 hours prior to check in.

The building in which our summit is taking place, One Campus Martius, requires everyone to wear a mask upon entering the building. Once you are on the 16th floor and in our event space, masks are optional. The building also has new air filtration systems. We will have masks and sanitizer on hand as well.

Cancellation policy

We’re sorry if you can no longer join us for the Summit, but we understand that things happen and life isn’t always predictable. If you cancel before 3/14/22, you will receive 100% of your refunded ticket*. If you cancel between 3/15/22 and 4/1/22, you will receive 50% of your refunded ticket* (no April fools here!). From 4/2/22 until the Summit, you will not receive any refund on your purchase unless you have a positive COVID test. If you do have a positive test, please reach out and we will refund you in order to keep the entire event safe and healthy.

*Regardless of the time of your cancellation, you will not receive a refund on the $150 processing fee.
