SCULPTURE CLUB- 4 week - Untutored sculpting from life with Michael

Life Modelling Sculpture — 4‑Week Block

Join me in my own macquette studio for a short, focused block of life‑modelling sculpture. We will work directly sculpting from life model Michael for 3 hours over the span of 4 weeks. 22 & 29 Sept and 6 & 13 August.
These sessions are untutored, so you’ll need to feel comfortable working independently, but I will be there sculpting so I can help coach and support anyone. It’s a lovely chance to explore quick clay studies, experiment, and develop your own approach at a relaxed pace. It is for everyone that has had some experience in clay or sculpture- and you don't have to be a figurative sculptor but it is thrilling experience modelling directly from the human form.

The studio is compact but thoughtfully arranged, with modelling stands and a turntable for the model, giving you clear viewpoints and plenty of angles to work from.

You do need to bring your own supplies which are basic: clay ( if you havent bought a ticket that includes clay), a baseboard 35 cm x 35 cm, a cotton wrap to keep the clay moist and a plastic bin bag.
Small group, maximum 7 people. ( only 4 tickets are available here). There is and option buy a ticket with a bag of clay and i’ll secure the clay is ready for you. 

The pieces can then be fired in collaboration with Saramica Clay through me for a small fee.
