We’re Back!

Following the great success of this year’s debut, there was only one thing to do… bring back Method Maestro! 

It’s time for round two! Next summer, from 3rd-5th July 2026, we’re heading once again to the brilliant Lindholme Lakes for three full-on days of fishing, fun and competition.

What’s It All About?

Picture this: it’s early morning at Lindholme Lakes, the mist is lifting off the water, and 50 anglers are gathered outside Anglers Arms Pub, hands wrapped around a tasty coffee and plates of breakfast keeping the nerves at bay. There’s chatter, a bit of banter, and that quiet buzz of anticipation before the draw. Everyone’s got the same goal to see who can master the method feeder and come out on top.

But Method Maestro isn’t just about chasing weights. It’s the excitement of knowing that every fish counts, every decision matters, and over three days, it’s consistency that makes ONE champion.

Some turn up chasing glory, others just for the fun of it - but all leave with stories, laughs, and a weekend to remember. That’s what makes Method Maestro special. It’s not only a test of skill, but also a proper get-together for everyone who loves the art of method feeder fishing.

What to Expect?

If there’s one thing we learnt from this year’s edition, it’s that Method Maestro isn’t just another fishing match - it’s becoming the place to be for method feeder fans.

We’ve had anglers travelling in from all over the UK and even across Europe just to take part. And it’s not only the die-hard fans turning up - some of the sport’s biggest names have already fished the Maestro.

🎣 Jamie Harrison, Przemek Solski, Martyn Carpenter, David Van Damme… just to name a few.

That means you’re shoulder to shoulder with pros, legends, and passionate anglers who all share the same love for feeder fishing. And that’s the magic - one peg might hold a world-level competitor, the next peg someone chasing their first ever festival podium. Everyone has the same chance and the same three days to prove themselves.

So, expect top-class fishing, a friendly but competitive atmosphere, plenty of laughs, and a line-up of anglers you’ll be proud to say you fished alongside.

What Lakes You Will Fish?

Each day is a new challenge! Over the course of this edition, you’ll be fishing Bonsai Lake, Loco Lake, Laurels Lake, Beeches Lake, and Stripe Pond. Five amazing waters, three full-on days, and endless chances to show your skills.

What You Can Win?

Ah, the prizes… now here’s the funny thing: technically, the cash isn’t going to make you rich. You probably won’t be buying a yacht or a private island with it. But what you can do is brag a little, show it off to your missus, and maybe even buy a round of celebratory drinks!

Method Maestro II pot is over £3,000, with the potential to hit £3,500, plus trophies worth £500. And let’s not forget the glory - standing on the podium, lifting that trophy, and knowing you’ve out-fished some of the best in the country (and beyond).

So whether you’re in it for the cash, the shiny trophies, or just the bragging rights, there’s plenty to aim for - and every fish you catch brings you one step closer to that sweet, slightly ridiculous victory moment.

Are There Any Rules?

Naturally, there are rules - they help keep the competition fair, safe, and fun for everyone.

Think of it like this: the rules are written down, but it’s you who we’re counting on to stick to them. Keep it clean, fish honestly, and show respect to your fellow anglers - that’s the spirit of Method Maestro.

We’ll be keeping an eye out, not to spoil the fun, but to make sure the competition stays fair and every angler has a proper chance at glory. Follow the rules, and you’re free to focus on what really matters: catching fish, enjoying the lakes, and having a blast.

Accommodation.

Want to make the most of your Method Maestro weekend? You’ve got options.

Right at Lindholme Lakes you’ll find comfortable lodges available to rent - but these need to be booked in advance, and they do go quickly. So if you’re planning to stay right on the fishery, we recommend sorting your booking as soon as possible.

Prefer to stay off-site? No problem. There are plenty of hotels, B&Bs and other options in the nearby area, so you’ll have no trouble finding somewhere that suits your style and budget.

Whether you choose a lodge on the lakeside or a cosy spot nearby, you’ll be perfectly placed for three unforgettable days at Method Maestro 2.

REFUND POLICY.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather can affect participation in our events. To ensure fairness for both participants and organisers, our refund policy is as follows:

Cancellation Due to Extreme Weather.

If an event is canceled or rescheduled due to extreme weather conditions, participants are eligible for a partial refund of 60% of the registration fee.

The remaining 40% is retained to cover non-recoverable expenses, including trophies, staffing, venue fees, and other event-related costs.

Rescheduled Events.

Participants are encouraged to attend the rescheduled event.
If a participant cannot attend the rescheduled date, the partial refund (60%) will apply.

Refund Process.

Refund requests must be submitted within [3 days] of the event cancellation notice.
Refunds will be processed within [14 days] via the original payment method.

No Refunds for Personal Circumstances.

Refunds will not be issued for personal circumstances unrelated to event cancellation or rescheduling due to extreme weather.
