PIKE FURY – FIRST EDITION

Pike Fury is a brand-new predator fishing competition built for anglers who want something different.

This is the first edition of a team-based event designed to bring back the essence of pure lure fishing — where success is driven by skill, instinct, teamwork, and the ability to read the water, not by advanced real-time technology.

Taking place at the legendary Pitsford Water, Pike Fury introduces a fresh, competitive format that rewards decision-making, consistency, and true angling performance under pressure.

TEAM COMPETITION

Pike Fury is a doubles team event, where coordination, strategy, and communication are just as important as individual catches. Teams will need to adapt constantly, manage pressure, and work together to maximise their result across multiple scoring categories.

PURE ANGLING FORMAT

This is not a technology-driven competition.

To keep the focus on true angling skill, the following live imaging systems are not permitted:

• Forward-facing sonar (including LiveScope / Live 360)
• Any real-time fish tracking or live imaging technologies

Electric trolling motors and basic sonar units (2D sonar, Down Imaging, standard fish finders) are allowed to support safe navigation and basic structure reading.

The philosophy is simple: find fish through understanding, not through live targeting systems.

SCORING FORMAT

Teams compete across three categories, each worth up to 20 points:

• Best Pike – biggest pike of the event
• Top 5 Pike – combined total of the team’s five best fish
• Number of Pike – total number of pike caught

Maximum possible score: 60 points

No minimum size limits — every pike counts.

TIE-BREAK RULES

In the event of a tie, rankings will be decided in order by:

1. Total combined length of all fish
2. Biggest pike
3. Second biggest pike
4. Earliest recorded catch time

LIMITED ENTRY

This is an exclusive first-edition event with strictly limited capacity:

• Only 24 teams are available
• Entry fee: £169 per team

Once the places are gone, they are gone.
