This is an online fishing event.
"To be the best, you have to beat the best".
Our flagship 3rd CHUB fishing only event with a chance for participants to win the top prize and secure your name on the magnificent trophy.
As the lure, fly, feeder and float chub style fishing has a huge following in UK and a high skill set this competition is certain to be a great. The idea is to catch 5 Chunky Chub in a seventeen hour time limit in order to determine who the ultimate Euphoria Chub Champion is.
A trophy will be presented to the most skillful chub angler.
Chub Euphoria competition is designed to give anglers an opportunity to demonstrate the skills that they practice so much during each lonely fishing trip.
When: 3 AM - 8 PM, Saturday June 17th.
Where: Anywhere in United Kingdom.
Who: You! (and lot's of other folks).
Why: Because the river is low, the trout & pike fishing is slow.
RULES
CATCH - MEASURE - PHOTO - UPLOAD TO MOBILE APP
GPS location IS NOT REQUIRED and can be TURNED OFF by the competitor at any time.
You can change venues during the competition as many times as you wish.
All fish must be measured in full centimeters, meaning: fish with a length of 30.3 CM is: 30 CM and fish which measures 30.9 CM, also count as 30 CM.
The picture of fish must show the participant's measuring board, including the participant's unique ticket number.
If the unique ticket number isn’t visible the picture is not valid.
All fish must be photographed from its left side only. From top to tail with its lip against the top of the board. If the lip is not against the top of the board (plate) it will be ranked at least 1 centimeter shorter.
Making the perfect picture is the user's responsibility. Unclear photos will be disqualified. The graduation on the measuring board must be visible when taking picture (rule applies especially when narrow measuring boards are used). You should slide down the fish little bit to make sure graduation is visible when narrow measuring board are in use.
One rod only.
Permitted methods: lure, fly, feeder, float.

- 1 CM = 1 POINT
- 5 longest Chub WIN
- Chub minimum size: 30 CM
- You should submit all fish with the minimum size of 30 CM although the best 5 will take priority.
In the event of a draw, where one or more competitors achieve the same overall score in the competition, the following tie-breaking measures will be implemented sequentially:
a) Longest Fish Caught: The angler who has caught the longest fish will be declared the winner. Measurement of the fish should be validated by photographic evidence, according to the guidelines provided.
b) Most Fish Caught: If the tie persists after considering the longest fish caught, then the angler who has caught the greatest number of fish during the competition will be declared the winner.
c) Fastest Fish Caught: In the unlikely event that a tie still exists after applying the above measures, the "fastest fish" rule will be applied. The winner will be determined based on who landed their fish first according to the official competition time.
Determination of Biggest Fish Winner:
In the specific scenario where there is a tie for the biggest fish, measured to the same centimeter length, between one or more competitors, the following tie-breaker rule will be applied:
Next Longest Chub: The angler with the next longest chub, following the initially tied fish, will be declared the winner. It is therefore essential for all competitors to accurately measure and report all chub caught during the competition.
