Dance Class - Movement, Connection, Joy

A different kind of networking event for women in business.

Join us for 45 minutes of music, movement and connection — an opportunity to step away from the usual working day, meet other women in business and experience networking in a completely different way.

Inspired by iconic women, unforgettable music, fashion and confidence, this fun and accessible session is designed to encourage self-expression, build confidence and create genuine connections.

No dance experience required and no pressure to get the moves right. Just come ready to try something different, have fun and connect with other women.

We’ll start with a cuppa and cake, hear more about the work of Smart Works Yorkshire, then head into the dance studio before finishing with time to network and connect.

Friday 6 November 2026 | 9:15am–10:45am
Smart Works Yorkshire Centre, LS9 7DZ

9:15am – Arrival, refreshments & introduction to Smart Works Yorkshire
9:45am – Dance class
10:30am – Informal networking

And for a little extra fun, bring a favourite accessory or clothing item for some catwalk-style fun during the session.

Because networking doesn’t always have to look like networking. Sometimes the best connections come from sharing an experience, having a laugh and doing something a little different.
