OLI SPLEEN & THE SMITHMANTHERS with guests Mishkin Fitzgerald and The Barbarian Horde

Alt-folk family band The Smithmanthers who live on the south coast of England compose and perform songs that journey ‘twixt the twee and the demented.

Singer Oli Spleen variously served their time in The Flesh Happening, Pink Narcissus and SPLEEN. Following a rendezvous with the ageing Flesh Happening bass player, and dalliances with members of The Barbarian Horde, this new collective was birthed.

Expect cello, piano, fabulous garments, and songs about nuns, death, dreams and excrement.

Oli Spleen & The Smithmanthers will be performing at Brighton's Folklore Rooms on April 5th with support from Mishkin Fitzgerald and The Barbarian Horde.
