Step into the world of Tori James, the first Welsh woman to climb Everest, for an evening of adventure and inspiration. Experience first-hand the stories from some of the most extreme environments on the planet.
At just 25, Tori James became the first Welsh woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest. Facing extreme cold, thin air, and the notorious “death zone,” she experienced the physical and mental challenges that few have ever dared to confront. Join her as she shares the highs, the lows, and the lessons learned from standing on the roof of the world.
Tori will also take you on the incredible journey of Beeline Britain - the record-breaking straight-line adventure from Land’s End to John O’Groats. Alongside a team that included a Paralympian, a retired serviceman, and an outdoor instructor, she kayaked, cycled, and hiked in a straight line across the UK. Hear how determination, teamwork, and refusal to accept “no” led to a UK record and discover insights that can inspire both personal and professional challenges.

Tori James is a record-breaking adventurer and inspiring storyteller whose achievements span summiting Cho Oyu, skiing to the Magnetic North Pole, cycling the length of New Zealand, and completing the award-winning Beeline Britain challenge. She has starred in the BBC documentary “On Top of the World,” hosts the First Females podcast, and her Beeline Britain journey is captured in the multi-award-winning film “As The Crow Flies.” A passionate advocate for teamwork, resilience, and active travel, Tori also serves as President of Girlguiding in Wales and holds a Prime Minister’s “Points of Light” Award.
