Event details:
Equine Assisted Learning is an experiential learning modality that will assist you in working through patterns, behaviours and associated emotions and beliefs. When becoming more present, heart centred and instinctive through working with and connecting to the horses, their responses create an opportunity for discovery to your authentic self, congruence, intuition and truth.
No prior experience with horses is necessary.
Disclaimer:
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) sessions provide opportunities for personal growth, experiential learning, and increased self‑awareness through guided interactions with horses. While these experiences can be meaningful and impactful, they are not a substitute for psychotherapy, counselling, medical treatment, or any regulated mental‑health or healthcare service.
Participant Acknowledgements
By participating in EAL activities, you understand and agree to the following:
- Inherent Risk: Horses are large, powerful animals with natural behaviours that may be unpredictable. All equine‑related activities carry inherent risks.
- Safety Requirements: Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by facilitators and staff. Activities may be modified or discontinued at any time if safety becomes a concern.
- Non‑Clinical Service: EAL facilitators do not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical advice. Any emotional insights or reflections that arise are part of the learning process, not therapeutic intervention.
- Personal Responsibility: Participants are responsible for disclosing any relevant physical or psychological conditions that may affect their ability to participate safely.
- Assumption of Risk: By taking part in EAL sessions, participants assume full responsibility for their own safety and wellbeing and release the facilitator, property owners, and associated staff from liability for injuries or damages, except where prohibited by law.
