SOARly Needed R&R Connection Point- Volunteers

Help us bless and serve our community on June 19th 6-9pm SOARly Needed R&R event. Hosted by Connection Point Church located at 10500 E State Rte 350, Raytown, MO 64138. We will serve a limited number of families. Volunteers need to check in 30 minutes before event starts.

We need volunteers to serve in a variety of roles, including being a one-on-one buddy to an individual with special needs, siblings group leader, crafts, sensory, medical, security, and more. We also need volunteers to help us set up and tear down. Volunteers must be in the 6th grade or older to volunteer on their own. If they are younger than in the 6th grade, we encourage them to serve with their family.

Background Check: If you are 18 or older (by R&R) and have not completed a background check with us within the past 3 years, you must submit a background check at least 1 week in advance of the event. A background check application from SOAR Special Needs will be sent to you after you register.

Training: All volunteers must complete a short video training and answer training questions prior to volunteering. A link to all training videos and questions will be sent to your email.
