SOAR Special Needs is hosting a FREE 3-hour respite for parents of individuals with special needs! The theme will be Christmas. We will also have a simultaneous program for siblings from birth - 13 years old.

The November 18th respite will be at Antioch Bible Baptist (800 NE 72nd St. Gladstone, MO 64118). We are accepting only 30 participants. Pizza dinner will be provided to all participants and siblings.

COVID-19: We want to ensure the health and safety of everyone with the ongoing concerns of COVID-19. We are following the CDC and local guidelines. Masks are left up to the individual.

Paperwork: All participants must fill out and return a Plan of Care and Consent form by November 14th in order to attend November's R&R. If a Plan of Care and Consent form is not received by November 14th your spot will be given to someone else. SOAR Plan of Care and Consent forms are valid for one full year from the completion date. Plan of Care and Consent forms can be found HERE.

Cancelation Policy: If you are no longer able to attend November's R&R and you let us know by November 14th you can still sign up for a future R&R in 2022. If you cancel after November 14th you will need to wait until all families have attended a 2022 R&R before you can attend except special considerations determined by SOAR staff.

Waitlist: We have a limited number of spots on the waitlist. Once the waitlist is full you will need to wait and sign up for December's R&R. Placement on the waitlist does NOT guarantee you a spot at the next respite event. You will need to sign up with the general pool for any future respite events.

PLEASE NOTE: Your individual(s) with special needs must be signed up in order for their siblings to attend! Once a participant's time slot is full that time slot is no longer available even if a sibling slot is still open in that time slot.
