Help us bless and serve our community during November 18th SOARly Needed R&R events. March's R&R will be hosted at Antioch Bible Baptist (800 NE 72nd St. Gladstone, MO 64118). We will serve 50 families. 

We need volunteers to serve in a variety of roles including being a one-on-one buddy to an individual with special needs, siblings group leader, crafts, sensory, medical, security, and more. We also need volunteers to help us set up and tear down.  Volunteers must be in the 6th grade and older to volunteer on their own. If they are younger than in the 6th grade we encourage them to serve with their family.

Background Check: If you are 18 or older (by R&R) and have not completed a background check with us within the past 3 years, you must submit a background check at least 1 week in advance of the event. A background check application from SOAR Special Needs will be sent to you after you register.

Training: All volunteers must complete a short video training and answer training questions prior to volunteering. Training videos and questions can be found HERE.

COVID-19: SOAR is following the CDC and local mask guidelines. Currently it is up to the individual if they choose to mask.  If you are able to stay a little later than our volunteer time slot we would appreciate your help cleaning the facility for the next event.
