Soban Korean Pop-Up at Le Vin Perdu
Soban is back.
Our Korean pop-up returns for its second instalment of traditional, authentic Korean food, served alongside a small, carefully chosen selection of natural wines & beer from Emilia.
This time, we’re taking over Le Vin Perdu in Ashburton for a weekend of K-food joy. It will be a set three-course menu, with shared tables, and a lively, informal atmosphere — a bit of hustle and bustle, and good vibes all round.
Dates & times:
Friday 6th February — Dinner (7pm arrival, food served at 7.30pm)
Saturday 7th February — Lunch (1pm arrival, food served at 1.30pm)
Saturday 7th February — Dinner (7pm arrival, food served at 7.30pm)
Sunday 8th February - Lunch (1pm arrival food served 1.30pm)
Price: £45 per person. This covers the three-course food menu and does not include drinks.
Who we are
Soban is run by Hae In Cho, originally from South Korea, and her husband Reuben Darling Khan, a seasoned chef who has worked in kitchens including Emilia, Ashburton and Clipstone, London.
Together, we cook food that’s rooted in Korean tradition, made with love and meant to be shared.
Please note:
This is a set menu including meat and/or fish, dairy, and a tiny bit of gluten. Unfortunately, we’re not able to cater for dietary requirements — it comes as it is.
Seating: We’ll do our best to seat groups together, but shared tables are part of the experience and we can’t always guarantee this — especially for larger bookings.
