The Adoption Day event is focused on being a safer space for those who are new to pet play and our community. As such, sexual play of any kind is not allowed.

Seeking a pet or Handler, but not sure how to find your match? Looking to add a human pet to your existing family? New to pet play and not sure how to get started? Come on out to our ADOPTION DAY, an 18+ event by SoCal Creatures designed with pet player matchmaking and pick-up play in mind.

• Play in our massive Open Mosh Area or in Private Rooms (including a Forest & Vet Room!);
• Shop for new leather pet play goodies and squeaky toys from our Vendor, Jackel's Bite
• Or engage with what makes this event truly special - our ADOPTION ZONE, inspired by real bio-pet adoptions, where you can put yourself up for pickup play "adoption" or find your newest pet.

Don't worry, you're welcome to just romp with your current pet play friends and partners - you are not required to engage in the pick-up play side of the event. Although we do encourage you to try it! ;)

This is a safe space for human creatures and Handlers of all shapes and sizes, run by a diverse team of women and gender expansive folks. No matter your gender, sexuality, ethnicity, "species," experience level, or play style, you are welcomed here.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

1-1:30pm: Welcome Wagon + Adoption Day Orientation
1:30pm: All Rooms, Play Areas, & Adoption Zone Open
5:00pm: Event Ends

COVID-19 POLICIES:

• All attendees must provide proof of initial COVID vaccination at the door in order to enter the event. We also now require proof of booster *OR* a negative PCR (<72 hours) or antigen (<24 hours) test.
• We also require proof of at least one booster shot *OR* a negative PCR (<72 hours) or antigen/home test (<24 hours).
  

• N95 or Surgical Masks will be required in all rooms at all times, including play, even under hoods. We have spares.
• Food will be restricted to the Outdoor Kitchen area. All snacks will be contact-free.
• Toys may not be put in mouths for any reason. Gags are also not allowed.
• Every room will have hand sanitizer, wet wipes, nitrile (non-latex) gloves, and extra masks, as well as band aids & disposable ear plugs for those with noise sensitivities.

Threshold is located in a mostly ADA compliant building (bathrooms are in renovation), however parking is limited (one posted and marked space by the front door). Please contact socalcreatures@gmail.com directly if you want to inquire about the availability of interpreters.
