Growth in time of challenge – panel and networking event

The State of Social Enterprise 2025 showed that it was a tough period for social enterprises, with turnover and profits down compared to previous surveys. Despite this, a majority were still planning to innovate to achieve growth and support an increased number of beneficiaries.

Join us for an inspiring panel and networking event focused on how social enterprises can achieve this growth. We’ll hear from four leading social enterprises; Breakthrough, The Dusty Knuckle, WYK Digital and Young Ladies Club on how they have grown their businesses over the years, whilst maintaining their commitment to their social purpose. We’ll also be looking ahead at plans for future growth as well as how to address barriers along the way.

It’s a great chance to find out how fellow social enterprises are addressing challenges head on and come away with top tips on how to navigate and implement growth strategies. You’ll also be able to make new connections and share learnings with your peers.

There’ll be plenty of social enterprise food and drink on offer, as well as plenty of time to network with fellow attendees and panellists.

The Ethical Property Company:

Food will be provided by the Lovage Project, a non-profit, plant-based social enterprise serving delicious, nutritious food for meetings and events. Their menus are fresh, flavourful and designed to be both sustainable and delicious.

Driven by a mission of community regeneration, Lovage Project creates employment opportunities, supports marginalised communities and helps tackle food insecurity. Their values of sustainability, social impact and low-waste practices mean that every meal served has a positive impact beyond the plate.
