Description

Social Impact Days at Kellogg (SI Days) is an annual event for incoming students interested in engaging in and learning about social impact at at Kellogg, and how they can use their MBA to better serve society.

Over the course of an immersive two-day event, students interested in creating impact come together, learn from prominent speakers, and work in teams to design innovative approaches to real social challenges. SI Days culminates in an intense team pitch competition. Students from last year’s incoming class had this reflection about SI Days:

“Now more than ever we need business schools dedicated to creating leaders who lead from the intersection of business and society, comfortable with both the synergies and the tensions, able to boldly champion effective, sustainable ideas and practices that help leave this world better than we found it.”

During Social Impact Days, 120+ students gather for a day and a half, to hear from inspiring speakers and faculty, and learn about social impact opportunities at Kellogg, including courses, funded conference/learning experiences, internships, and career options. For the main event, students join together in teams to explore their own potential for impact. Each team is challenged to design an innovative approach to a real social or environmental challenge. Teams present their solutions in a student pitch competition, and Social Impact Days culminates in awards and recognition for the final winning team.

If you're interested in social impact, join us in Evanston at the Kellogg Global Hub on Aug 18-19!
