The Great (TJ's) Pumpkin Tasting

Remember Linus, sitting in the pumpkin patch every Halloween, waiting for the Great Pumpkin while everyone else went trick-or-treating? We feel you Linus. Linus is the in-betweener, the one still figuring it out, knowing that something bigger is out there, while everyone else seems to have their plans already figured out.

So in honor of Linus, this October, we're getting a group of in-betweeners together to work our way through as many TJ's 🎃 pumpkin foods 🎃 as we can find — sweet and savory, pumpkin tamales, pumpkin bisque, pumpkin whatever's-new-this-year — paired with 🍷 wine 🍷 from The Blending Lab Winery.

We'll start with a wine pairing overview from Chris, followed by a larger tasting and ranking of The Great Pumpkin Foods of Trader Joe's. It's the one ranking you actually sign up for — a lot lower stakes than getting unofficially ranked against your cousin who made VP last year, and we hope, a lot more fun.

This one's for you if:

• You're an in-betweener — mid-transition, mid-figure-out, mid-something
• You're looking for people, not just plans
• You're the kind of person who always wanted an excuse to try the full buffet of TJ's pumpkin foods

What to expect: a guided pairing with 3 wines,followed by a mingling and tasting situation. We'll finish with a vote for your favorite, and a room full of people who also don't have it all figured out.

• Parking: Free and plentiful around the neighborhood.
• Event is 21+. 
• Ticket includes food and wine pairings. Additional glasses and bottles will be available for purchase.
