7th Conference of Analysis & Activism in Mexico City 2026, October 29-November 1, 2026

Dear Colleagues, friends, and fellow activists, 

We are delighted to announce the 7th International Analysis and Activism Conference, to be held in Mexico City, October 29 – November 1, 2026.

Our theme, “Transcending Divisions: Borders, Identity, and the Rekindling of Our Shared Humanity”, responds to the global resurgence of authoritarianism, hardened borders, nativism, and a growing sense of collective regression. Inspired by the works of C.G. Jung, James Hillman, Carlos Fuentes, and Gloria Anzaldúa, and others, we invite proposals exploring borders—inner and outer—as literal and symbolic sites of trauma, resilience, exclusion, and transformation. We welcome all contributions, especially those from historically underrepresented regions. We emphasize accessibility, offering a flexible fee structure to accommodate diverse socioeconomic realities.

Cultural Opportunities

The conference will take place from Friday, October 29, to Sunday, November 1. Participants may extend their stay to join the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations on November 1–2, one of Mexico’s most significant cultural traditions.

Registration Fees

• Benefactor Level: $500 USD (supports accessibility)
• Standard: $275 USD
• Low and Middle Income Countries: $160 USD (https://wellcome.org/research-funding/guidance/prepare-to-apply/low-and-middle-income-countries)
• Students & Training Candidates: $130 USD

Cancellation Policy and Disclaimer for 7th Analysis and Activism Conference

Please carefully read the following cancellation policy regarding 7th Analysis and Activism Conference to understand the terms and conditions for refund eligibility and access to video streaming.

1. Refunds for Objective Reasons:
   Refunds will only be granted to registrants who provide valid and verifiable evidence of objective reasons for being unable to attend the conference in person. Objective reasons may include serious illness, death in the immediate family, legal obligations, or other unforeseeable and uncontrollable circumstances. Decisions regarding refunds will be at the sole discretion of the organizing committee, and any supporting documentation must be provided within 14 days of the conference date.
   
2. No Refunds for Other Cancellations:
   If a registrant cancels attendance for reasons other than the objective reasons stated above, no refund will be granted. 
   
3. Changes or Cancellation of the Conference:
   Organizing Committee reserves the right to alter or cancel the conference without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to, acts of nature, governmental restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation by Organizing Committee, registrants will be offered a refund or access to the rescheduled event, as applicable.
   
4. Indemnification:
   By registering for 7th Analysis and Activism Conference, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Organizing Committee and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim or demand arising out of or related to their attendance or non-attendance of the conference.

Nuestro tema, “Trascendiendo divisiones: Fronteras, identidad y el reencuentro con nuestra humanidad compartida”, responde al resurgimiento global del autoritarismo, el endurecimiento de las fronteras, el nativismo y una creciente sensación de regresión colectiva. Inspirados por las obras de C.G. Jung, James Hillman, Carlos Fuentes y Gloria Anzaldúa, entre otros, invitamos a presentar propuestas que exploren las fronteras —internas y externas— como espacios literales y simbólicos de trauma, resiliencia, exclusión y transformación. Damos la bienvenida a todas las contribuciones, especialmente las provenientes de regiones históricamente subrepresentadas. Priorizamos la accesibilidad y ofrecemos una estructura de tarifas flexible para adaptarnos a las diversas realidades socioeconómicas.

Política de Cancelación y Descargo de Responsabilidad para la 7.ª Conferencia de Análisis y Activismo

Le rogamos leer atentamente la siguiente política de cancelación relativa a la 7.ª Conferencia de Análisis y Activismo para comprender los términos y condiciones referentes a la elegibilidad de reembolsos y al acceso a la transmisión en video.

1. Reembolsos por razones objetivas:
   Los reembolsos solo se concederán a las personas inscritas que presenten pruebas válidas y verificables de razones objetivas que les impidan asistir presencialmente a la conferencia. Las razones objetivas pueden incluir enfermedad grave, fallecimiento de un familiar cercano, obligaciones legales u otras circunstancias imprevistas e incontrolables. Las decisiones relativas a los reembolsos quedarán a la entera discreción del comité organizador, y toda documentación de respaldo deberá presentarse dentro de los 14 días posteriores a la fecha de la conferencia.
2. No se otorgarán reembolsos por otras cancelaciones:
   Si una persona inscrita cancela su asistencia por motivos distintos a las razones objetivas mencionadas anteriormente, no se concederá ningún reembolso. 
3. Cambios o cancelación de la conferencia:
   El Comité Organizador se reserva el derecho de modificar o cancelar la conferencia sin previo aviso, por cualquier motivo, incluyendo, entre otros, desastres naturales, restricciones gubernamentales u otras circunstancias fuera de nuestro control. En caso de cancelación por parte del Comité Organizador, las personas inscritas recibirán un reembolso o acceso al evento reprogramado, según corresponda.
4. Indemnización:
   Al registrarse en la 7.ª Conferencia de Análisis y Activismo, las personas participantes aceptan indemnizar y eximir de responsabilidad al Comité Organizador y a sus afiliados, directivos, agentes y empleados frente a cualquier reclamación o demanda derivada de, o relacionada con, su asistencia o inasistencia a la conferencia.
