Society Hall Welcomes the Beautiful Celtic and World Music Virtuosity of Michael Mandrell and Anam Cara!

Society Hall, at 400 Ross Avenue in Alamosa, is excited to welcome the magical Celtic music of Michael Mandrell and Anam Cara, Sunday November 15th at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:00 pm with the show beginning at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $20.00 and are available at the link below and in Alamosa at The Green Spot, 711 State Ave. The concert will also stream live on both the Society Hall Facebook page and You-Tube channel.

Anam Cara, which means “soul friend” in Irish, is a trio based in Taos, NM featuring Celtic, New Age, and original music. Julie Hawley on Celtic harp and lead vocals and Jimmie Killingsworth on bouzouki, tenor banjo, and mandolin have been mainstays in the northern New Mexico folk scene for over a decade and have recently teamed with the touring and recording guitar ace and composer, Michael Mandrell, to produce a rich interplay of soulful vocals and intricate instrumental arrangements. The music ranges from rousing to meditative and is designed to move your heart and free your mind.
