OUR SPEAKERS
Kuah Boon Theng S.C.
Boon Theng is the Managing Director of Legal Clinic LLC. Appointed Senior Counsel in January 2018, her experience spans the full spectrum of legal work in the healthcare industry, from advising healthcare institutions, professional bodies and healthcare professionals, representing clients in mediation and legal proceedings, and serving on various hospital committees.Boon Theng was a Council member of the Law Society from 2012 to 2017 and served as its Vice President in 2016 and 2017. She was co-chair of the Law Society’s Mediation Committee from 2020 to 2022.
Lim Tat
Tat is Managing Partner of Aequitas Law LLP and Founding Partner of Maxwell Mediators. Tat is an IMI certified mediation practitioner based in Singapore. He has mediated and advocated in over 800 mediated cases. His dispute resolution practice has been ranked in The Legal500 and he has since 2022 been recognized as a WWL Global Elite Thought Leader for mediation.
Lim Lei Theng
Lei Theng is Head of Allen and Gledhill LLP’s Knowledge Management Department and Pro Bono programme. Lei Theng is a pioneer in the practice of mediation in Singapore, having been among the first to be appointed to the Panel of the Singapore Mediation Centre, Singapore international Mediation Centre, Energy Market Authority, and MOHH Healthcare Mediation Scheme. Lei Theng mediates actively in a wide range of disputes and is a much sought after trainer in mediation and conflict management
Dr. Ronald Ng
Dr. Ronald Ng is a specialist haematologist in private practice. He is a Principal Mediator of the Singapore Mediation Center, a Volunteer State Court Mediator, and is on the panel of mediators of MOHH. In addition, he is a member on the Education Panel of the Medical Protection Society, where he regularly gives workshops to doctors to help doctors how to handle situations when an adverse outcome has occurred.
