Little Women follows the March sisters—Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy—growing up in Massachusetts during the American Civil War. With their father away serving in the Union Army, they are guided by their wise and loving mother, Marmee. Jo pours herself into her writing, Meg dreams of romance and a beautiful home, Beth devotes herself to music and family, and Amy strives to perfect her art and poise. Through first loves, losses, sibling quarrels, and the joys of creativity, the sisters navigate the exhilarating and uncertain journey to adulthood.
