The Wolves is a sharp and witty exploration of adolescence, taking the audience into the world of a varsity girls soccer team. In between games and warmups, the team navigates discussions of periods and interpersonal drama alongside serious conversations about the world they are set to inherit. As tension begins to rise, and cracks form in the surface of team morale, all seems lost, especially with the unexpected tragedy of losing a team member. Nevertheless, the Wolves show what it means to really be a team, and to come together in the face of grief and loss to play their final game.
SENSITIVE CONTENT WARNING
The Wolves contains discussions of genocide, torture, border imprisonment, unwanted sexual advances, abortion, eating disorders, cancer and suicide, death via car accident (off-stage), and crude and derogatory language. These topics are navigated casually in conversation within the show.
