I Wish I’d Thought of That (IWITOT): The Americas
11 speakers sharing 11 ideas that you can borrow and adapt for your organisation in 2021. This is the event that fundraisers need to get ready for another year of fundraising in a pandemic. Please join us!
What is IWITOT?
IWITOT is a unique twist on the usual fundraising conference. Attendees (from veterans to newbies) will be given the opportunity to be inspired as their peers showcase brilliant examples of fundraising.
Each speaker has just seven minutes to champion an innovative and exciting fundraising campaign or concept that they wish they’d thought of themselves. But there is a catch … all speakers must speak enthusiastically about someone else’s idea, not their own. Egos are banned for the day!
Co-hosted by the wonderful Lisa Sargent (Lisa Sargent Communications) and amazing Suhailah Waheed (Giving Geeks LLC), this virtual event will feature 11 fantastic speakers from the USA, Canada and beyond. Our amazing line-up includes the following fundraisers:
Trina Landlord - Alaska Federation of Natives, USA
Paul Nazareth - Canadian Association of Gift Planners, Canada
João Paulo Vergueiro - Brazilian Fundraisers Association (ABCR), Brazil
Tamara Rahmani - CanadaHelps, Canada
David Perez Rulfo Torres - Corporativa de Fundaciones A.C., Mexico
Lori Muñoz Malcolm - HeartPress #BrokersOfGood, Canada
Ryan Steele - Kansas State University Foundation, USA
Rickesh Lakhani - Future Possibilities for Kids, Canada
Nick Allen - Nuevo Fundraising, USA
Kimberley MacKenzie - Kimberley MacKenzie and Associates, Canada
T. Clay Buck – Tactical Fundraising Solutions, USA
Some of our young voices are being mentored by veteran fundraisers including: Simone Joyaux, Joyaux Associates, USA and Craig Linton, Fundraising Detective, UK.
IWITOT: The Americas will be a fun and inspirational session for your whole fundraising department. In addition to our talks, the speakers will be live and online ready to answer your questions. You can even have your say by voting for your favourite IWITOT idea.
The live stream will be hosted via Fundraising Everywhere+ and there is a chat function available for you to connect with us, and your fellow delegates, throughout the live stream.
When is it and how do I sign up?

Don’t forget...

Thank you!
