Soft Brain Theatre Company (SBTC) aims to bring laughter, joy, and playfulness back to audiences in a way that both resurrects a childhood sense of wonder, and gently reflects on the current cultural context. The purpose of SBTC is to remind audiences of the necessity of Play, and to encourage them to welcome more lightness of heart and softer thoughts into our ever-hardening world. SBTC aims to revitalize the oft-forgotten artforms of clown and Commedia dell'Arte, and reinvigorates them for a 21st-century audience by infusing the forms with musical theatre.
