7th Annual "Stand-Up for Sojourn!" Comedy Event AND Dream Vacation Raffle Fundraiser!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

We are kicking off the month by holding our 7^th Annual "Stand-Up for Sojourn!"

Event sponsored by LRS, Humanitarian Legend Sponsor!

This year's theme is "An Evening in Purple!" Wear your favorite purple attire and you may win a prize!

Our evening features the amazing comedian Arvin Mitchell!

Arvin Mitchell is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer from St. Louis, Missouri, best known for his work on the sketch comedy series Studio C and for performing two Dry Bar Comedy specials. Born and raised in St. Louis, Arvin is one of thirteen children. He grew up entertaining family and friends, but his mother famously told him, “If you’re going to be a clown, you’d better get paid for it!”

After his debut as the first runner-up in the nationally televised comedy competition on BET's Coming to The Stage, Arvin went on to become J Anthony Brown's bartending co-host on Club Comic View. Since then, Arvin has continued to make television appearances on Tony Rock's The Funny Spot, Kevin Hart's One Mic Stand and various commercials. In addition to performing two Drybar comedy specials, Arvin Mitchell is currently featured as a cast member on the family comedy series Studio C!
