Solent Careers Hub | Workplace Experience Conference

Join the Solent Careers Hub Team for our very first Workplace Experience Conference! This event invites careers professionals and employers to explore ways to make work experiences more impactful and meaningful for students.

This is a valuable opportunity for attendees to:

• Collaborate on innovative approaches to reimagine traditional work experience
• Share best practice and explore methods of reducing barriers and burdens
• Discover new ideas to support and enhance the delivery of meaningful workplace opportunities for young people.

For the Solent Careers Hub, work experience is about providing varied, interesting, and inspiring opportunities to our local young people. This ensures that young people are developing the skills and experience they need to thrive in any future employment.

This conference will offer the opportunity to hear a range of speakers from education leaders and employers who are driving innovative approaches to work experience in their organisations.

Tickets for this conference will be free for all attendees, please book your space in advance. Spaces will be limited to the venue capacity and so we encourage early bookings.

The venue offers plenty of parking for all attendees, which will be free of charge throughout the event.

For anyone travelling from the Isle of Wight or via public transport, we will be offering a free shuttle service from the Portsmouth Hard Interchange. If you would like to make use of this offer, please email solent.careers@portsmouthcc.gov.uk ahead of the event.
