Raising money for Battir Womens Association, Transactual, Cooperation Birmingham

20:00 - 02:00 music, dancing, bar, snacks.

There will be: 
- PoC and Queer-frendly security
- booze and non-alcoholic drinks at the bar

Things are hard right now. In Birmingham, the UK, the world. ‘Solid Joy’ is the first in a series of parties where we will raise money for local and international causes, dance to DJ’s and live music, and remind ourselves that we are not alone in yearning for a better world. Everyone needs to blow of steam, but on the 26th of September, don’t do it in corporate bars. Come and do it with us. The organisers of the event are volunteers so every ticket, each drink, any food you buy will go to supporting groups who need it.

The aim of this event is to raise money, but joy should be available everyone. If you can’t afford it, let us know and you can come for free, no questions asked.

Homophobia, misogyny, racism, transphobia and any forms of discrimination are not welcome at Solid Joy. This is a space where we will act in kindness, care and solidarity with one other.
