Meet the Curators of The Traveller Exhibition
Join us for an hour at The Engine Room on Thursday 28 September at 6pm to meet Yvette Staelens and Avril Silk who put the ‘Born in the Wheel of a Wagon’ traveller exhibition together in 2011 with MA students from Bournemouth University and photographer Ted Franklin.
Yvette and Avril will talk about the background to the show and the lives of the Travellers depicted in it. They will discuss why it continues to matter that Travellers’ voices are heard and listened to in 2023.
Light refreshments and nibbles will be available.
